New assistance center for Ukrainians opened in Warsaw: what services are available for refugees

The Polish Migration Forum Foundation has opened a Center of Assistance and Support for refugees from Ukraine. Find out more about the services Ukrainians can use, as well as the address and contacts

A new Center for Assistance and Support for people with migration and refugee experience has been launched in Warsaw under the leadership of the Polish Migration Forum Foundation. The opening hours, address of the center and what kind of assistance Ukrainians can receive there are described below. 


Assistance Center in Warsaw: what services are available to Ukrainian refugees 


When you visit the new Assistance Center, you can get a free consultation with social workers on the spot. They will be able to help you solve and provide information on the following issues

- access to medical services

- access to education;

- solving problems with documents. 


The Center also has a so-called daycare center where you can leave your child aged 3 to 8 for a maximum of 4 hours. The teachers speak Ukrainian and Russian. The kindergarten will be open on weekdays and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. 


In addition, the new center offers a number of free consultations, which you can attend by appointment:


 Psychological help from a specialist for adults, adolescents and children;
 Legal assistance;

 Obstetrician services;

• Services of specialists who advise on legalization of stay in Poland;

 Business and career consultants.


In addition to the above services, the Polish Migration Forum Foundation regularly provides services to help pregnant women and new parents. The Foundation offers programs to prepare for childbirth, developmental classes for babies, and massage workshops for infants. 


The Foundation also organizes various events that help refugees get used to life in Poland, better navigate the labor market, etc. 


Assistance Center in Warsaw: address and contacts 


Refugees can apply for the assistance center in Warsaw at 137 Górczewska Street. The doors of the center are open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.
