A project has been created in Ukraine to facilitate evacuation and search for housing for refugees
Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the President, has created a project "Where you are waited for", designed to simplify the process of evacuation, finding housing and humanitarian aid in a new place for those Ukrainians who are forced to leave their homes because of Russia's war against Ukraine.
The Ministry of Education and Science has created a special website that shows the number of places that each region is ready to offer for free resettlement of temporarily displaced persons. There are also telephone numbers of contact centers in each region, where you can contact yourself with a request - local authorities will accompany evacuees from the stations to the place of settlement.
Passengers can submit an application for evacuation with accommodation independently through the contact center of Ukrzaliznytsia at 0 800 503 111. Operators will advise passengers on key issues and enter the passenger's data in the registration form. Those who for some reason did not manage to do it on their own will be helped by Ukrzaliznytsia employees at railway stations and trains.
At the five "departure" stations - in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Zaporizhia and Lozova - stewards will register evacuees in a single system and help determine the location of the future temporary settlement. At the four "receiving" stations - in Lviv, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk - the evacuees, who were registered, will be met by other railway employees and volunteers, who will hand them over to local authorities. Those, in turn, will deliver evacuees from the station to the settlement.
It will be possible to register in the system not only at the station, but also in some trains. Railway workers who will help with this will travel on the following flights (train numbers and routes may change):

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
Self-serve is not allowed.
