Poland reduces the list of documents for the import of animals from Ukraine
From July 16, the Polish government is reducing the list of required documents from pet owners to bring animals into the country.
It will be possible to import a pet into Poland from this day on the condition that the following requirements are met:
1. Animal identification by microchip
2. Rabies vaccination administered not earlier than the time of chipping;
3. The animal has a valid European passport issued by a veterinary institution of the State Food and Consumer Service, which confirms the implementation of the procedures mentioned above.
For the import of an animal it is no longer required to provide:
1. a certificate on the state of health of the animal
2. test results for the number of antibodies against rabies, carried out by the titration method
If a person travels through Poland to another country where such tests are needed, you can do the necessary examination for your pet in Poland at your own expense.
