How can IDPs get free treatment or necessary medical drugs?
During martial law in Ukraine, citizens have simplified access to primary medical care. Ukrainians can apply for medical assistance regardless of the place of signing the declaration. And in cases of urgent situations, the call for emergency medical assistance at number 103 is free, regardless of the location in Ukraine or the presence of a declaration.
Which doctors do NOT require a referral:
• gynecologist;
• a psychiatrist;
• dentist;
• narcologist;
• phthisiologist;
• pediatrician;
• urgent hospitalization.
In other cases, it is necessary to consult a family doctor, a therapist or a pediatrician.
Internally displaced persons can be accepted in any health care facility that has a contract with the National Health Service of Ukraine (you can specify the list of medical facilities that work with the National Health Service at number 16-77).
Also, IDPs have the right to free medicines during their stay in a hospital or within the framework of the "Affordable Medicines" program.
Currently, the program includes the following drugs for treatment:
• cardiovascular diseases;
• prevention of strokes and heart attacks;
• type II diabetes;
• diabetes insipidus;
• bronchial asthma;
• mental and behavioral disorders;
• epilepsy.
Also, under the program, patients can receive insulin free of charge or with a small surcharge. This requires a prescription, which can be written by an endocrinologist or a family doctor, a therapist or a pediatrician (if the patient has a prescribed treatment plan).
In addition, there is a possibility of obtaining humanitarian medicines.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
