The French, who accept refugees from Ukraine, will receive financial assistance from the state

French families who provide free housing to Ukrainian refugees will receive compensation from the state. 5,000-12,000 families will be able to count on support. This is written by Le Figaro.
How to get compensation?
The French will be able to receive from 50 euros per month from April 1 to December 31, 2022. Families who sheltered Ukrainians for more than 90 days have the right to count on financial assistance.
To receive the money, the French must register and obtain a certificate from the community in which they live and receive the refugees.
As the Minister-delegate of the Ministry of Cities and Housing Olivier Klein notes, the program is aimed at supporting the unprecedented display of generosity provoked by the war and crisis in Ukraine.
The agency clarifies that the financial assistance applies to people who accept any beneficiary of "temporary protection" that the European Union provides to people fleeing the war in Ukraine, "regardless of their nationality."
New rules for Ukrainian refugees seeking asylum in France
