Key landmarks

1

Schönborn Palace

It is one of the most beautiful and romantic palaces in the country. It is located among the picturesque Carpathian mountains as if the hunting palace of the Schönborn Counts (1890) invites you to a fairy tale. It looks at you through 365 windows and invites you through 12 entrances to 52 rooms. The palace is surrounded by a beautiful park with many exotic plants.

2

Beregove

Every year on May 17, City Day is celebrated in Beregove, but this did not happen in the glorious jubilee year this was prevented by the election campaign for the seat of the city mayor. It's a pity, because not every European city can boast of such a respectable age. An interesting city for tourists with its history, architectural monuments, wine-making traditions, and thermal pools. Today, Beregove is known as the centre of Hungarian culture in Ukraine and Transcarpathia, but it is international. Representatives of many national minorities live there. And in ancient times, the city was built by people of different nationalities - not only Hungarians but also Germans (Saxons), Italians (Dalmatians), Serbs (Rats), and Ruthenians.

3

Uzhhorod

When you first get to Uzhgorod, it seems like a fairy tale and even a toy, with these narrow winding streets, and old houses that are tightly pressed to each other. One thing remains unchanged - a walk or excursion in Uzhgorod is always a pleasure. And of course, no one will be indifferent to the strict, impregnable castle and the extremely beautiful, somewhat dreamy embankment with its beautiful linden trees.

4

Lumshors

At the foot of the largest meadow of the Ukrainian Carpathians, the Runa meadow is the Lumshory balneological resort, which has been known since the 17th century. The heavenly beauty of nature and the elements of hell are closely intertwined - huge metal vats in which you will bathe over a slow fire in mineral hydrogen sulfide water. For greater pleasure, you can alternate bathing in a vat and bathing in cold water. Such rest, in addition to unforgettable impressions, leads to the recovery of the musculoskeletal system and rejuvenates the body for ten years.

5

Synevyr

A tour in Transcarpathia would be incomplete if we did not stop at Lake Synevyr. It was formed 10,000 years ago when the swift river waters restrained the mountains and blocked their path to the place where the lake was later formed. Today it is a nature reserve. Nature is extremely beautiful. Here you can easily see huge trees, the trunk of which even a few people will not be able to reach, and the lake itself is as clean as a mountain tear and teeming with fish. Undaunted aquatic inhabitants often jump to the surface themselves to feast on treats brought by tourists. Therefore, we wish you a good vacation on Synevyr, and we advise you to listen to local legends.
