Uman was founded in the seventeenth century on the territory of the present-day Cherkasy region. Nowadays, Uman is known primarily for the annual congress of Hasidim from all over the world during the celebration of the Jewish New Year, as well as for Sofiyivka Park, a national arboretum, one of the most famous in Ukraine.

Basilian Monastery - the oldest building in Uman. One of the wonders of Ukraine is the Sofiyivka arboretum. Walking tour of the Sofiyivka park. In your free time, you can walk around the park on foot or on horseback, take a boat ride on the underground river Aheron, take a boat or horseback ride. Transfer to the railway station or bus station of Uman.
