Chortkiv + SPA

The second-largest city of Ternopil Oblast, located above the picturesque Seret. There are many sights in Chortkiv that tourists are looking for, for example, the ruins of the pentagonal castle of the Golskyi (1610) with four towers, two wooden churches that are examples of the Podilsk folk architectural school - the oldest church in Podillia, the Church of the Assumption (1584 ) and the Church of the Ascension of the Lord (1717). Also of interest are the New "Hasidic" Synagogue (1909) and the well-maintained spiritual complex of the Church of St. Pokrovy (1905) with sources of healing water, a bathhouse and a fountain. In the center of Chortkov, a beautiful residential building (XIX-XX centuries) has been preserved, among which the old town hall (1924) with a half-timbered tower with a clock looks harmonious. And the real decoration of the city is the majestic non-Gothic church of St. Stanislav (1910) with a copy of the miraculous icon of the Chortkiv Mother of God, which is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Ukraine.
