DAY 1

Arrival to Kyiv Meet & welcome at Boryspil Airport/Train stationTransfer to hotel. Check in.

City walking tour (3hrs) – Depending on the arrival time can be done on 1st day afternoon or next day morning. 

Kyiv fascinates you with its hospitality and will open you its heart. Ancient city that was founded in 4th century is a mix of all times, it has old churches, soviet buildings, modern skyscrapers and very vivid life rhythm. 

During the walking city tour you will dive into the history of the city from the oldest times. You will see Golden Gate the first entrance to Kyiv in 10-11 century, followed by Sofia Cathedral (11 century, UNESCO heritage) & Mykhailivsky Cathedral (replics of 1939). Walk down to the main street called Khreshchatyk and see the Square of Independence (Maidan Nezapezhnosti) – symbol of freedom and protests. Here you will see the famous Lyadsky gate, the monument of Kyiv founders, and monument of Independence.

Leisure time.Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Khreshchatyk and Independence Square

Khreshchatyk is the main promenade of the city. Maidan is its main square, around which many other interesting locations are concentrated.

Kiev-Pechersk Lavra

In the 11th century, monk Anthony founded the Caves Monastery, which eventually turned into a holy place for Orthodox Christians. Since 1990, the Lavra has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, which only emphasizes the significance of this site for the world.

It got its name due to the palace of the same name, which is located nearby. The luxurious Mariinsky Palace was built in 1750-1755. Today, this iconic historic building serves as the ceremonial residence of the President and the venue for many ceremonial events.

Park "Volodymyrska Girka"

The picturesque park "Volodymyrska Girka" with an area of ​​10.6 hectares was erected in the middle of the 19th century on a hilly area. It consists of upper, middle and lower terraces. On its territory there is an old Royal arbor, a monument to Prince Volodymyr and several modern sculptures.
