Day 1

Arrival in Lviv. Check-in at the hotel (14.00, if there is a free room, check-in immediately, if not - things at the administrator on duty until 14.00). Walking tour "The Streets of Old Lviv". Old buildings, cathedrals, parks and fortifications. Unique medieval part of the city included in the UNESCO World Heritage List: Rynok Square, Latin Cathedra, Boim Church, Kornyakt's Bell Tower, Dominican Cathedral... There are exciting stories about famous people who made the history of Lviv, bikes, legends, historical curiosities. Unique corners of ancient Lviv - Italian and Armenian Yards. The Chocolate Shop is the place which both adults and children dream of visiting... Lviv coffee and chocolate are the most delicious in Ukraine! Attention! Tourists who are already familiar with Lviv are offered an excursion "The Dungeons of Lviv" (specify when booking). Bus tour of Lviv. Sightseeing of the Greek-Catholic cathedral of St. George. The Cathedral was built in luxurious baroque style according to the project by B. Meretin, decorated with a monumental sculpture of the genius sculptor John Pinzel. Lychakiv Cemetery is one of the oldest and most interesting cemeteries in Europe, and simultaneously is an open-air museum. Here are buried many prominent persons: Ivan Franko, Markiyan Shashkevich, Igor Bilozir, Solomy Krushelnitskaya, Viktor Chukarin, Vladimir Ivasiuk... The High Castle is the highest mountain in Lviv. After climbing this mountain we get a bird's-eye view of the city. From there you can see the Old Town with the Town Hall in the center, houses of famous Lviv citizens, and temples built in different styles. Free time for an independent walk,  gift shopping.


Day 2

Shipot Waterfall  - Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center - Lake Synevyr - Kelechin

Boarding the tour bus (7:00 am), transfer to the village of Pilipets. Here, from a height of 15 meters with many mesmerizing cascades between the rocks drops into a picturesque mountain valley, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Ukraine - Shipot waterfall. It starts from a large underground spring in one of the most beautiful places of the Ukrainian Carpathians - the Borzhava Valley. Staying here is a great way to get away from civilization and gives new vitality. The Synevyr Pass is one of the most picturesque passes in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is 793 meters high and offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Synevyr National Park - on the territory of the National Natural Park Synevyr there is the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center with the area of 12 hectares. Because of the human activity this predator of Ukraine is on the brink of extinction and requires a special treatment. The center was created to rehabilitate the individuals of brown bear, who were mistreated in captivity and suffered from a natural disaster, to reproduce their population in the natural environment. Excursion to the pearl of the Carpathians - Lake Synevyrsky, which appeared as a result of volcanic collapse back in the glacial period. The crystal smooth surface of lake Synevyr is surrounded by mountains covered with century-old firs. Synevyr is called the heart of Carpathian Mountains for a reason! The panoramic view of the mountains from the road can't be compared to anything you've seen before. Near the village Synevyr you can stop at the tavern - have a cup of coffee, look at the mountain panorama, the river in the rocky trough below. The beauty is indescribable! Below is the river Terebovlya, above - the mountains of Sinevir densely overgrown with smeretz. The narrow path ascends a little bit winding. On the right there is a grotto, from which the stream seems to flow, which is an exit of the underwater sink of lake Sinevir. Water flows out of it through the rocks, and through this grotto at a constant rate at any time of year Synevyr waters are fed by three mountain streams. The lake has an underwater flow through a natural channel in the rock. The village Kelechin is the birthplace of Avgustin Voloshin, Carpathian Ukraine, which is also famous for its unique mineral water with high iron content. Day 3

Dovbush Rocks - Carpathian Tram

Departure from Lviv (08:00). Dovbush Rocks - Bubnyshche. Botanical-geomorphological reserve "Dovbush Rocks" - natural monument of national importance, is a group of high cliffs with an area of 100 hectares, which on the background of forest and mountains to create an indescribably beautiful mountain scenery. It is believed that the rocks have been used since ancient times (IX-XIII centuries) as rock fortresses and fortifications. The advantage is the Carpathian streetcar. All romantics and lovers of the mountains are welcomed by the narrow-gauge railroad, which was started to be built at the end of the XIX century by Baron Leopold Popper for transporting timber. The track width is 770 mm, which is half of the normal railway track. The four-hour trip on the so called "Carpathian streetcar" takes an extremely picturesque route through the most beautiful and ecological places of the Carpathians. You can enjoy the beautiful nature: the mountains, the rivers Mizunka and Candle, Mizun waterfalls, quench your thirst with the water from mountain springs, recover with the mineral water "Horyanka", taste the tea from the Carpathian herbs. When you come back home, you will for a long time imagine Carpathian landscapes and the song of rushing streams with crystal water. Goshev is a well-known throughout Ukraine pilgrimage site due to the miracle-working icon of the Mother of God (1737), which is located in the Church of Transfiguration (1842), Basilian Monastery, founded in 1570 on the Yasnaya Mountain in the Carpathians. Return to Lviv.
