About this tour

We invite you to walk through the places of Veliky Kobzar, see the beauty of Podillia, explore the most beautiful park of Ukraine, and admire the light and music fountain in Vinnytsia.

Day 1 (Friday) Lviv

Departure from Lviv at 19:30 - overnight transfer in a comfortable bus to Moryntsi.


Day 2 (Saturday) Moryntsi - Uman - Vinnytsia

Arrival in Moryntsi-Shevchenkove. Breakfast. An excursion to the National Reserve ‘Batkivshchyna Taras Shevchenko', which united the villages of Taras's childhood.

Then, Uman is waiting for you - the city is known for its wonderful garden and park art.

Excursion to the Sofiivka National Arboretum, which is interesting for its romantic atmosphere, artificial ponds and picturesque buildings

Dinner. Moving to Vinnytsia. In the evening you will visit the light and music fountain "Roshen". Check-in.


Day 3 (Sunday) Vinnytsia - Medzhibyzh - Lviv

Breakfast. Departure from Vinnytsia at 09:00. A boat cruise on the Southern Bug awaits you.

Then, you will visit the museum and the burial place of M.I. Pirogov, which is located in the picturesque Vyshnia estate, where the outstanding scientist, brilliant surgeon, founder of the Red Cross Society Mykola Ivanovich Pirogov lived and worked during the last twenty years (1861-1881).

Transfer to Medzhibizh, where you will visit the castle-fortress located between Bug and Buzhko. In August, the "Ancient Medzhibyzh" festival with knightly tournaments takes place on the territory of the fortress.

Dinner. Transfer to Lviv (return at 11:00 p.m.).

Moryntsi

This village is known for the fact that the famous Ukrainian poet, writer, artist and public figure Taras Shevchenko was born here. Currently, in the village, you can visit the house of Yakym Boyko, the grandfather of Taras Shevchenko. Moryntsi fascinates with the beauty of its nature, so melodiously sung in the works of Veliky Kobzar.

Shevchenkove

The former Kerelivka, where Shevchenko spent his childhood years. Currently, a literary and memorial museum is located here, in the former courtyard of Tarasova's house. Next to the museum, on the slope of the ravine, the grave of the poet's mother, Kateryna, has been preserved.

Uman

The Sofiivka National Dendrological Park is the hallmark of the city, which is the most beautiful park in our country and was recognized as one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. Sofiivka was built on the border of the 18th and 19th centuries. Stanislav Shchensny Potocki as a gift to his beautiful Greek wife Sofia. The park covers an area of ​​about 180 hectares, with more than 2,000 species of trees and shrubs from around the world growing in it.

Vinnytsia

The National Museum-house of the outstanding scientist, brilliant surgeon, anatomist, teacher and public figure Mykola Ivanovich Pirogovhe is the real Mecca of the city. The museum includes the house where Pirogov lived, a museum pharmacy, a memorial park and a church-necropolis, where the embalmed body of the great scientist rests. Almost seven million people from 169 countries of the world visited the Pirogov Museum.

Medzhibizh

The city at the confluence of the Southern Bug and Buzhok rivers is known throughout Ukraine for its fantastic fortress (XVI-XIX centuries), whose picturesque towers and defensive walls are visible from everywhere. The size of the castle is also impressive, its area is 4 hectares, and the length of the walls is from 85 to 130 meters. In the middle of the fortress, the ruins of the Senyavski palace and the church (1586) have been preserved. The city is a major pilgrimage center for the Hasidic because it is here that the founder of Hasidism, the Baal Shem Tov (BeSHT), lived and died.
