About tour

We will visit the Maniavsky Skit, the oldest Orthodox monastery in the Carpathians, which is one of the most famous historical monuments in the Carpathian region. We will also visit the Maniava Waterfall, one of the most amazing wonders of the Carpathians. The water falls in several cascades. The waterfall flows down, dividing into 2 parts: the left part is wider and the right part is narrower. Also, our route will pass through Mount Shpytsia, despite its small height (1863 meters), it fascinates and amazes with its beauty.

Mount Shpytsia is probably the most interesting peak of all those in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Here you can see a number of unusual rocky outcrops, which in some places reach a height of 15 to 50 meters. Often in this region, the names of peaks, lakes and rivers reflect the appearance or are related to historical events for which the Carpathians are famous. The Shpytsia rocks are no exception. The giant stone mounds of natural origin resemble either pitchforks or spears from afar. Mount Shpytsi is located in the Verkhovyna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is part of the Chornohora mountain range and boasts a height of 1863 meters above sea level.
