DAY 1

Arrival to Ternopil. Meet & welcome. Transfer to hotel. Check-in.

Ternopil is one of the most known towns in Galychyna region. Founded in 16th century by Jan Tarnovsky, city changed many governments and periods. It was even a capital of Western Ukrainian National Republic in 20th century.  

City walking tour (3hrs) – Depending on the arrival time can be done on 1st day afternoon or next day morning. 

You will visit city downtown with its history & legends. Architecture is a mixture of old buildings and soviet houses. The two landmarks of the city – Ukrainian Greek Catholic Cathedral and Ternopil lake, a great activity playground. 

Leisure time.Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel. HALF DAY TOUR TO ZBARAZH FORTRESS (by car)

Now far from Ternopil, you can find a very interesting landmark. A fortress of 17th century that actually stands on the place of far earlier fortress. 

Zrabaz was always a zone of interest of Polish and Ukrainians. Castle sees the great times of wars and tragedies’s of peoples lives.


DAY 3

Breakfast. Day at Leisure. 

Optional excursions can be offered 


DAY 4

Breakfast. Check out of hotel. Transfer to the train station.

Return back home.

Taras Shevchenko Boulevard

One of the best places for walking is Taras Shevchenko Boulevard. It has an original three-sided clock, a monument to Solomiya Krushelnytska, fountains and a couple of other cute monuments.

Church of the Nativity

In the center of the city is one of the oldest places of worship in Ternopil - the Church of the Nativity. The main shrine of the church is the icon of the Mother of God of Ternopil. There is a legend that it was in this temple that Bogdan Khmelnitsky prayed.

Ternopil Pond

Ternopil Pond or Ternopil Lake is an artificial reservoir in Ternopil with an area of ​​300 hectares. In the 60s, the “Island of Lovers” was built at the headquarters, which today is considered one of the most romantic places in Ukraine.

Zbarazh castle

Zbarazh Castle is one of the most picturesque and best-preserved fortresses in the Ternopil region. A museum of local lore has been founded in the castle, since Ukraine gained independence.
