About this tour
During the excursion, you will visit the second homeland of Baron von Steingel, the village of Horodok. Fedor Rudolfovich Shteingel is a philanthropist, Ukrainian public-political and cultural figure, diplomat, and organizer of the first rural museum in Volyn in the village of Horodok. Its premises were located on the territory of the Orthodox shrine of the Saint Nicholas Convent. We will visit the monastery and bow to the main shrine - the blessed image of the "Merciful" Mother of God (Kozelshchanska).
Peresopnytsia (1149) is the capital of the historical Pogoryna, where the glorious Peresopnytsia Gospel (1556–1561) was born in the Monastery of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos.
Presidents of Ukraine are sworn in at the Peresopnytsia Gospel during the inauguration.
