In ancient times, these places were not disdained by the Kyiv metropolitans, who set up their residence here. The ancient Shelvov Bor rustled around and rivers flowed in full flow. But later, the comfort of the church hierarchs was replaced by the village of Shuliavka, which later became a suburb of Kyiv. The neighborhood was steeped in criminal romance, and during the first revolution of the former empire it almost became a separate republic with its own laws. There is a lot to see here, including one of the oldest cemeteries in Kyiv, in addition to old houses and trees.
