Departure from Lviv at 08:00. Arrival in Zhovkva to the "Ideal" city of the Renaissance, which ranks second after Lviv in terms of the number of architectural sights.

Transfer to Krekhiv, an unusually picturesque and harmonious place, where the famous religious centre in Ukraine and the world is located - the Krekhiv Monastery with a stone church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (XVIII century) and a wooden church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos (2004), in which there are two miraculous icons, visiting the monastery, hiking in the caves, collecting spring water in the holy spring.

Lunch (extra charge)

After lunch, you will head to Stradch - the Mari pilgrimage centre, which is famous for its underground monastery and the Way of the Cross. In 1936, Pope Pius XI established the Way of the Cross on Stradetska Hill and granted the Stradets the status of a vacation spot. Also, the Stradetskaya Way of the Cross (Kalvaria) received from the Pope the meaning of the Jerusalem Way of the Cross. The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is at the top of a 350-meter mountain. (overview of the caves and the temple). Return to Lviv at 19:30.

Zhovkva

The city of Zhovkva in the Lviv region was built on the principle of "ideal cities" and is one of 200 such surviving cities in Europe. At first, it was a private residence city with a fortress and defensive walls, then a royal residence. In 2016, Zhovkva received a special assessment in the competition "7 Wonders of Ukraine: Historical Cities and Towns".

Krekhov

The Krekhovsky Monastery near the village of Krekhov was founded in the early 17th century by the monks of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Joel and Sylvester. The Krekhovsky Monastery is known for its miraculous icons: St. Nicholas the Great, after whom the monastery is named, and the Mother of God. There is a legend that she helped a blind girl to see. In the forest, behind the Krekhovsky monastery, there is a holy spring, pilgrims and guests go there for clean water. There, on the mountain, the first cave church and cells have been preserved.

Stradch

The village of Stradch is famous for its ancient cave Lavra, miraculous icons of the Mother of God, the burial place of two newly proclaimed blessed martyrs at once, the Way of the Cross and glorious history.
