The Canadian government continues to support Ukraine and its citizens. Together with the Open Arms, Solidaire and Fundación Integralia DKV charitable foundations, the organization of special humanitarian flights for the evacuation of Ukrainian refugees continues. To date, 1,800 Ukrainians have taken advantage of the offer and evacuated to Canada.
Open Arms is the main point of contact for Ukrainians planning to fly to Saskatchewan. The charter flight is free of charge.

Assistance on arrival in Canada
After landing in Regina, you will be met by the local authorities. Friends and relatives can meet you at the airport. If you need to travel to another city on your own, you can stay in Saskatchewan for a few days. They will help you collect documents and book tickets (which you pay for yourself). During this time, you will be provided with housing and the necessary support.
If you do not have family or friends in Canada, they will provide you with long-term housing and help with your studies, employment and all paperwork (including CUAET benefits). Additional information about accompanying Ukrainians in Canada, as well as obtaining housing, employment, and further assistance can be found at the link.
More detailed information about the organization of the departure, boarding pass and baggage can be found at the link.
It will be recalled that in mid-March, Canada announced the opening of a temporary migration program for Ukrainian refugees, which allows them to live and work in Canada for three years.
