Ukrainians currently staying in Georgia can count on financial assistance from the Unite Together team. Financial support will be provided to 1,200 refugees. This was reported on the charity's Facebook page.

Who can receive a payment from Unite Together in Georgia and how much?

The funds will be provided to those who have a difficult financial situation and arrived in Georgia after February 1, 2022.

The program provides financial support in the amount of 255 GEL (3,230 UAH) per person during March - June 2023 (four payments). The first payment will be made in April.

To receive the payment, a person must meet the following vulnerability criteria:

- over 60 years old (by date of birth);

- have a large family (three or more children under the age of 18);

- be a single mother or father raising minor children on their own and have the relevant documents.

What do you need to receive benefits in Georgia?

To receive assistance, you need to fill out an application

Please note! Submitted applications are not an automatic confirmation of payments.

All information and clarifications will be provided by the program coordinators.

As a reminder, the Georgian authorities have extended the period of visa-free stay for Ukrainians on their territory to two years. Read more about when the new rules come into force here.
