Canadian visa center reopens in Kyiv: how to make an appointment

The Canada Visa Center has reopened in the capital at the new address. Find out more about how to make an appointment and what services are available

Canada Visa Center resumes its work in Kyiv. Biometric data collection services will now be provided. Here are the documents required for registration.


It is noted that other services, including passport applications, are not yet available.


What documents are required for registration?


To make an appointment to submit biometric data, you need to send an email to [email protected].


Holders of biometric instruction letters (BILs) can apply for services, but urgent appointments for biometric data are not yet available.


"After you receive a notification from the Canadian government that you need to submit biometric data, you need to make an online appointment at the Canada Visa Center. An appointment is required for biometric data submission," the center's website says.

The following documents must be submitted along with your passport:


 A letter with instructions on how to submit biometric data.

 Confirmation of an appointment.

 Written consent of the visa center signed by each applicant.


The address of the Canada Visa Center in Kyiv: 8, Illinsky Business Center, Illinska St. The center's working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00.


Please note that it is currently not possible to submit passports to the Visa Center in Kyiv, but they can be sent by courier/mail to visa centers outside of Ukraine. The passport must be accompanied by a passport request letter from the IRCC, contact details or details of an authorized representative outside Ukraine, and a written consent signed by each applicant.
