For the fifth time, the Federal Ministry of the Interior has extended the simplified entry rules for Ukrainian refugees.

This decision was made in response to russia's aggression against Ukraine, which has been going on for more than two years.
However, the rules have been adjusted. From now on, third-country nationals and stateless persons who do not have a permanent residence permit in Ukraine can no longer enter Germany without a visa or a German residence permit.
Therefore, the simplified conditions for entry and stay apply only to those who are entitled to protection under European law.
