One of Poland's voivodeships has simplified the application for a residence card. With reference to YAVP, we tell you what changes have already been introduced for some foreigners.

Where has the application process been simplified?

The new rules came into force on 1 October 2024 in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. From now on, all applications for a temporary residence card, a permanent residence card or an EU resident card in the voivodeship must be submitted by post to the Foreigners' Office of the Voivodeship Regional Office in Poznan or to one of the regional offices in smaller cities.
