Poland is simplifying the process of registering for the UZD for foreigners: what will change?
Inhaltsübersicht
As part of the fight against fraud, the Polish authorities have decided to change some of the rules for registering with the Office for Foreigners. Find out how the changes will affect Ukrainians
Poland has announced the launch of a new service for visiting the Office for Foreigners (Urząd). With reference to The Warsaw, we explain how this service will facilitate the process of visiting the Office for Ukrainians.
What will change?
From now on, slots for visits to the Office can be booked remotely. The newly implemented system of the Office for Foreigners is designed to improve the user experience by directing them to a specific office and facilitating the scheduling of appointments at a time convenient for them. Users will receive information about the necessary documentation for their visit.
A request can be submitted to several offices, and the system displays all available locations. In addition, the application contains a ‘case guide’ and a ‘check queue’ option, which provide additional support to users in navigating their cases.
At the same time, it should be noted that when booking a single visit, a foreigner is given the opportunity to solve only one problem.

Why is it important?
The Warsaw authorities have taken active steps to stop the illegal sale of queues for processing documents. The City Prosecutor's Office recently initiated a criminal investigation into intermediaries who reportedly use automated bots to book places, which jeopardises the transparency and fairness of the procedure.
Companies engaged in the illegal sale of seats use sophisticated technologies and software to manipulate the queue system for foreigners wishing to settle issues related to obtaining a residence permit in Poland.
People had to pay from PLN 250 to PLN 1,500 to book a seat.
We remind you! Ukrainian doctors in Poland will no longer be able to use conditional procedures to obtain the right to work in Poland. We told you what you will need to get a job and when the new rules will come into effect.
