About this tour

Walking tour of the city center of Lviv, lasting 2 hours.

Would you like to see how the people of Lviv really live? Discover Lviv for yourself in that part of it where there are no crowds of tourists, popular restaurants and queues for them?

We suggest you visit the quarter, which is located just a few minutes' walk from the Opera House, but where you can still feel the spirit of antiquity almost "to the touch".

This walk is a real transfer in a time machine. We will get to know the oldest churches of the city, with their wonderful interiors and iconostasis, which are real works of ancient art of Ukrainian artists.

In this part of the city there are many interesting buildings of different architectural eras, which are gradually being restored and decorated with elements of street art. Among the modern decorations are large wall paintings (murals) with allegorical connotations, made by young talented artists. We will also meet interesting new monuments carved in stone.

During the excursion, we will learn about the disappeared buildings of this area (including churches and synagogues), see cozy courtyards, one of which is decorated with paintings and portraits of famous people, and hear stories from the lives of people who once lived here.
