✨SECURITY


If you need to call emergency services, you need to call FREE emergency number 112 -  service is provided in Polish and English. The 112 service operator will direct your call to the appropriate emergency service. After dialing, wait for the connection to the operator. Redialing will only increase the waiting time.


In addition, the following emergency numbers operate in the territory of the Republic of Poland:

🚒Fire protection: tel. 998

🚔Police: tel. 997

👮‍♀️Municipal police: tel. 986


When calling, speak in essence, provide the following information:


• Location of the emergency (if you do not know the name of the street, indicate the characteristic site nearby)

• Type of event (eg robbery, fight, theft, collision or other accident),

• Information on who is calling (full name, telephone number for possible further contact).

💼EMPLOYMENT


We would like to draw your attention to the fact that consultations on the legality of employment of Ukrainian citizens in the territory of the Republic of Poland are provided in Ukrainian:


❇️from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 15.00 by phone 22 111 35 88 - for foreigners working in the voivodships: Masovian, Łódке, Wielkopolska, вwiętokrzyskie, Lublin and Lubuskie;


❇️from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 15.00 by phone 89 333 17 41 - for foreigners working in the voivodships: Warmia-Masuria, Podlasie, Kuyavia-Pomerania, Pomerania and West Pomerania;


❇️ Monday to Wednesday from 16:00 to 20:00 by phone 22 111 35 29 - for foreigners working in the voivodships: Podkarpackie, Malopolska, Silesia, Opole and Lower Silesia.


🚑 MEDICAL CARE


☎️The NFZ (National Health Fund) hotline is free, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and consultations are provided in Ukrainian.


📱 By phone 800 190 590 you will learn:


• where to find the nearest medical facility: family doctor's clinic (general practitioner), medical care at night (from 18.00 to 8.00 the next day) or hospital;

• where is the nearest pharmacy;

• how to act in case of coronavirus infection, how to get a referral for testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus;

• how to register for COVID-19 vaccination;

• how to continue treatment in the Republic of Poland (including oncology);

• medical staff from Ukraine can get information on the rules of concluding an employment contract / contract in Polish medical institutions.
