Since the beginning of the full-scale war, russian troops have fired dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of rockets at Ukrainian cities almost every day. moscow's missile potential is declining against the background of Western sanctions, which prevent putin's regime from launching pre-war projectile production. Currently, according to the calculations of the Ukrainian military leadership, russia has exhausted half of its stockpile.

According to Oleksiy Reznikov, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the russian army has faced several problems that reduce its arsenal:

1. brilliant Ukrainian air defense forces;

2. inept russian missile forces;

3. sanctions;

4. time.

What do these numbers mean? Explanation of Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense

The head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, spoke about the critical number of missile stocks last month. According to him, russia has the largest number of missiles that are launched from the air using an airplane. But the ballistic "Iskanders" are already running out.

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence notes that the number of missiles remaining near putin's "Iskander" is 13%, and this means that the russian military has already begun to use the so-called inviolable reserve.

"The Armed Forces of the russian federation already use an inviolable stock of land-based Iskander missiles and have a reserve for the use of another 12-15% of sea-based and air-based cruise missiles", - Budanov said.

Rockets are not the only means. What is the number of Iranian drones?

It is worth noting that the russian authorities, in connection with the shortage of missiles, turned to Iran with a request for the supply of "Shahed-136" kamikaze drones.

Main Directorate of Intelligence knows that russia has ordered about 1,700 drones from Iran, but they still need to be manufactured. The first batch of drones has already been fully used by the russian military. On October 22, the russians used about 330 Shaheds against Ukraine. Only 30% reached their targets, the rest were shot down.

Ballistic missiles of Iran

In addition to drones, the russian authorities ordered ballistic missiles from Tehran. It is still unclear what the exact amount is. However, according to Ukrainian intelligence, in early November Iran was preparing to send russia about a thousand additional weapons, including short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missiles and attack drones.

According to some reports, this weapon will be delivered by the end of 2022, but there is no exact date of arrival.

What missiles will Iran transfer to russia?

Intelligence believes that it is about the "Fateh-110" and "Zolfaghar" ballistic missiles. These missiles are capable of striking at distances of 300 and 700 km.

Having received missiles from Iran, putin's occupiers can double their attacks, Western media believe.

However, today, it is not known whether Iran is actually ready to provide russian forces with such means of defeat. This question arises against the background of information that Israel, in response to Tehran's actions, is ready to transfer to Ukraine its missiles capable of hitting the rear positions of russian troops.

Despite the reduction in the russian stockpile of missiles, Ukrainians should take aerial threats seriously. But at the same time, we continue to believe in the air defense forces and our soldiers, who continue to liberate the territories and expel the occupiers from Ukrainian lands.
