Kyiv has introduced a single speed limit in the city from November 1 until April 1. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, the speed limit is 50 km/h, except in certain areas where a lower speed may be allowed.

On those streets where the speed limit was previously 80 km/h, road signs with the speed limit have already been removed.

The administration reminds that 10 road sections were previously identified where the speed limit was 80 kilometers per hour from April 1 to October 31. These streets have high-quality pavement, safety barriers, as well as overhead and underground pedestrian crossings, which ensured fast and safe traffic. These streets include the following:

•
Naberezhne highway (from Poshtova Square to Naddnipryanske highway).

• Naddnipryanske highway.

• Saperno-Slobidska Street (after the turn behind Mykola Hrinchenko Street to the Southern Bridge).

• Stolychne Highway (to Akademika Zabolotnoho Street).

• Mykola Bazhana Avenue from the Southern Bridge Crossing to Kharkivska Square (in the opposite direction from Kharkivska Square to Dniprovska Embankment).

• Roman Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to Honore de Balzac Street).

• Stepan Bandera Avenue (from Obolonskyi Avenue to the Northern Bridge).

• Naberezhno-Rybalska Street (from Havanskyi Bridge to Elektrykiv Street).

• P-69 road (from the Yakta Kyiv restaurant at 26-A Bohatyrska Street to the city limits of Kyiv, except for the section near the traffic lights).

If you are planning to leave Ukraine by car, you should take care of obtaining a Green Card policy in advance, because without it, your car will not be allowed to cross the border. You can buy car insurance quickly and profitably on the Visit Ukraine website.

As a reminder, on November 3, Polish carriers plan to go on strike at the Ukrainian border. Previously, they were limited to one checkpoint, but now they plan to block all available entrances from Ukraine.
