How to have a cheap winter vacation in the Carpathians?
The most effective way to save money on a trip to the Carpathians is to book a ready-made tour that includes transportation to and from the location, accommodation, meals (partially or fully), on-site transfer, and insurance.
It should be noted that if you try to organize a trip on your own, you are unlikely to be able to keep within the same budget as when you buy a ready-made tour. And there are several reasons for this:
1. Hotels raise prices during the season, but tour operators that provide services to groups of tourists have the opportunity to accommodate guests on more favorable terms. That is, in a ready-made tour, accommodation will be much cheaper.
2. Travel insurance is included in the price of the trip, because the tour operator has contracts with insurers. Accordingly, buying an insurance policy separately will cost more.
3. Train or bus tickets are often impossible to buy during the season due to high demand. Moreover, there are many cases when bidders buy up tickets to popular destinations and then resell them for much more money. And after you get to the desired city, you will need to pay for additional transportation to get to the hotel. At the same time, traveling by your own car is also not a cheap pleasure, especially given the rise in fuel prices. And when you buy a ready-made tour, you are already provided with a transfer directly to your place of residence and back.
4. Tourists will have to pay for the daily transfer from the hotel to, for example, the ski slopes on their own, but this service is already included in the tour price.
5. Everything is also clear with food, because not all hotels offer breakfast and dinner, and if such a service is available, it often costs a lot of money. And eating out all the time is definitely not profitable, especially if you're traveling with the whole family.
So, booking a ready-made tour is a really profitable option that will allow you to save a lot on your trip.

Where to go for a cheap winter vacation in the Carpathians?

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
