Two more stations of the Obolonsko-Teremkivska subway line are scheduled to be closed for repairs in Kyiv. The information was made public by the deputy head of the Kyiv Metro, Dmytro Pinchuk, Telegraph reports.

What other metro stations may be closed for repairs?

It is noted that the closure concerns Pochaina and Taras Shevchenko stations.

It is noted that both of these stations also have a high degree of physical deterioration of the tunnels. At the moment, the Kyiv Metro is procuring design work.

"The relevant section is under constant periodic supervision. We ensure the safety of train traffic and reliable passenger transportation," the official emphasized.

The exact date of the subway suspension has not yet been determined.

Kyiv residents will be refunded for transfers due to closed metro stations

Residents of the capital who are forced to make transfers between Teremky and Lybidska stations will now be able to get a refund for their trips. 

In addition, the possibility of introducing a single ticket or a free bus between closed stations of the blue line is being considered. Here's how to get a refund.

We remind you! In connection with the temporary suspension of the blue line of the Kyiv metro, the Kyiv City State Administration has taken measures to ensure efficient transportation for city residents.
