Visa extension program for Ukrainians in the UK

How can Ukrainians extend their visa until 2026?

Citizens of Ukraine who received their first visas through the Homes for Ukraine, Ukrainian Family Program and the Extended Stay Program for Ukraine can stay in the UK for three years. These visas will expire in March 2025.

Therefore, it is recommended that they apply for an extension before September 2026. This will allow them to retain their rights to work, education and medical care in the country.

To extend a visa, you need to submit a special application.

The UK Foreign Office emphasizes that the new visa extension program is an important step in ensuring stability and support for Ukrainians in the UK. It also emphasizes the country's readiness to continue to provide asylum to those in need of protection and support in difficult times.

It is known that more than 280 thousand Ukrainians have been granted asylum in the UK since the start of the full-scale invasion of russia.
