D-10 visa for a foreign volunteer: the procedure and required documents

A D-10 visa to Ukraine for a volunteer can be obtained at any Embassy or Consulate of Ukraine abroad. According to the law, a foreign volunteer should prepare a package of documents and personally submit them directly to the Consulate or Embassy of Ukraine abroad or through the visa center of Ukraine. At the same time, the application for a visa to Ukraine for a volunteer is carried out exclusively by appointment at the Embassy, Consulate or visa center.
Important! It is impossible to obtain a D-10 visa for a volunteer without leaving the territory of Ukraine.
How to get a D-10 visa to Ukraine?
The procedure for obtaining a D-10 visa for a volunteer in Ukraine can be divided into the following stages:
1. Determining the place of submission of documents for visa application. It can be any Embassy, Consulate of Ukraine abroad or visa center of Ukraine abroad.
2. Preparation of the necessary documents.
3. Making an appointment for a visa application.
4. Submission of documents and payment of the consular fee for processing. Payment of the consular fee is made after submission of documents.
5. Obtaining a D-10 visa for a volunteer and returning to Ukraine on a visa.
Usually, the entire procedure for obtaining a D-10 visa to Ukraine takes about 5 working days, but the consul has the right to issue a D-10 visa up to 5 working days (urgent visa) and up to 10 working days (non-urgent visa), and the consul has the right to extend the consideration of documents up to 30 working days if additional checks are necessary.

What documents are required to apply for a D-10 visa?
Package of documents:
1. Visa application form.
2. Foreign passport of a foreigner, it must be valid for no more than 10 years, have two free pages for inserting a D-10 visa.
3. One color photo, 35/45 mm in size.
4. An invitation from a charitable organization or a non-governmental organization and a duly certified copy of the registration certificate and a copy of the extract from the register of non-profit organizations.
5. Proof of financial support for the entire period of validity of the D-10 visa.
6. Health insurance contract for the entire period of validity of the D-10 visa.
7. Receipt of payment of the consular fee.
Depending on the place of application, consuls may require additional documents, such as: a notarized translation of the volunteer's passport into Ukrainian, a notarized copy of the organization's registration statement, proof of financial solvency of the host party, etc.
