Ukrainian citizens now have the opportunity to edit information about their place of residence through the Diia app. This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.

"We are launching a new service on the Diia portal - you will be able to update your registered place of residence online in a few clicks," Fedorov wrote.

Data on the place of residence in Diia: how to update

When should I update my registration information?

• Error when ordering a residence statement in Diia;

• Incorrect data in your or your child's extract;

• No place of residence in your passport in Diia, although you are registered;

• Incorrect date of registration in the digital passport.

The application will also allow you to update your child's data, which is necessary for enrollment in kindergarten or school.

It is worth noting that this is not a change of registered place of residence, but only an update of its data.

Currently, the service is available throughout the country, except for some communities in the temporarily occupied territories, combat zones, Odesa and Mykolaiv. The full list of territories is available here.

We remind you!
 Amid changes to the mobilization rules, Ukraine has decided to significantly increase fines for violations of the same rules. Read our previous article to find out what exactly will be penalized and who may be affected.
