Ukraine has completed its participation in the 2024 Olympics, winning a total of 12 medals, which was a remarkable achievement for our national team. The Ukrainian national team has completed its performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Our athletes showed excellent results, winning a total of 12 medals.
Ukraine's representation at the 2024 Olympics
In total, 140 Ukrainian athletes participated in 23 sports, including new disciplines such as breakdancing and rock climbing. Although Ukraine did not manage to win any medals in these new sports, our Olympians represented the country well on the international stage.
Ukraine's medal achievement
The Ukrainian Olympic team will bring home 12 medals:
Three gold medals:
• Women's fencing team (Olga Harlan, Alina Komashchuk, Yulia Kravatska, Ksenia Bakastova)
• Yaroslava Maguchikh (high jump)
• Oleksandr Khyzhnyak (boxing)
Five silver medals:
• Serhiy Kulish (shooting)
• Ilya Kovtun (gymnastics)
• Parviz Nasibov (wrestling)
• Iryna Kolyadenko (wrestling)
• Luzan and Rybachok (canoeing)
Four bronze medals:
• Olga Harlan (fencing)
• Iryna Gerashchenko (athletics)
• Mykhailo Kokhan (athletics)
• Jean Beleniuk (wrestling)
These achievements allowed Ukraine to take 22nd place in the overall medal standings. However, given the further performances of the rivals, this position may change.

Financial support for the winners
The state has promised to pay prize money to every Ukrainian athlete who wins a medal at the 2024 Olympics. The total amount of prizes is $1,087,500. In particular:
• Olha Harlan will receive the largest prize - $205,000, as she won gold in team fencing and bronze in the individual competition.
• Oleksandr Khyzhnyak will receive $125,000 from the state and an additional $100,000 from Oleksandr Usyk.
• Yaroslava Maguchikh will receive $175,000, including $50,000 from World Athletics.
Ukrainian athletes have once again proved that our nation is invincible and strong in spirit. We are proud of everyone who defended Ukraine's honor at the Olympic Games and grateful for their courage, endurance and fight to the last.
