Paying traffic fines in Ukraine has become much more convenient thanks to the development of online services. In Ukraine, you can pay a fine without leaving your home. Read on to find out how a driver can pay a fine for violating traffic rules.
How to pay a traffic fine online?
The most popular and convenient services for paying fines online are the Diia platform and the Privat24 and Monobank banking apps.
How to pay a fine through Diia?
● Open the Diia app on your smartphone.
● Log in with your electronic signature or BankID.
● After successful authorisation, find and select the ‘Services’ section.
● In the ‘Services’ section, select the ‘Driver’ subsection and ‘Traffic fines’. The system will display a list of all your unpaid fines.
● Select a specific fine and click the ‘Pay’ button.
● Choose a payment method convenient for you and confirm the operation.
● After successful payment, the status of the fine will change to ‘Paid’. You can download your payment receipt or send it to your email.
How to pay a fine via Monobank?
Paying traffic fines through Monobank's mobile app has become very convenient and affordable. Step-by-step instructions:
● Launch the Monobank mobile application.
● On the main screen of the application, find the ‘Other payments’ section.
● Select the category ‘Fines for traffic violations’. There are two options for tracking fines through Monobank: select ‘Add car’, enter the necessary information about the vehicle or enter the number of the resolution in the search field.
● After you find the required fine, check all the data and click the ‘Pay’ button.
● After successful payment, you will receive a notification of the transaction. You can also check the payment status in the payment history section.
How to pay a traffic fine via Privat24?
Paying traffic fines through Privat24 is one of the most common and convenient ways to pay a fine, as you can pay the fine in a few clicks:
● Open the Privat24 website or mobile app.
● Select the ‘Payments’ section.
● Choose a convenient option for searching for a fine: by the number of the resolution, by the vehicle licence plate or by TIN.
● After you find the required fine, check all the data (amount, details) and click the ‘Pay’ button.
● After successful payment, you will receive a notification of the transaction.
How can I pay a fine offline?
If you cannot pay the fine using popular applications, you should consider the following options:
● payment through self-service bank terminals;
● payment of the fine at the cash desk of any bank;
● in some cases, you can pay the fine directly at the police station where the report was drawn up.
Please note that according to the laws of Ukraine, you must pay a fine for a traffic violation within 15 calendar days.
