The village of Vorokhta is located in the Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is a railway station, so it is quite easy to get there. The Kyiv-Rakhiv train runs regularly from the capital of Ukraine, arriving in Vorokhta around 5am.
The tourist potential of Vorokhta was laid down in the 1930s, when several boarding houses for wealthy tourists were built here. Since then, Ukrainians and foreigners have been coming here every year to relax, pick mushrooms, go skiing and breathe fresh mountain air.
