Some Ukrainians will lose their mobilisation exemption from February: who will be deprived of this status
Some Ukrainian citizens who have already received a reservation may lose this status at the beginning of next year. This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers. We tell you who may be deprived of their reservation here
Ukraine has introduced a new procedure for mobilisation reservations. Starting from February next year, some citizens will lose their reservation status.
What has changed?
The government has established that reservations granted by a decision of the Ministry of Economy are valid for the period for which they are granted, but no later than 28 February 2025. The same applies to deferrals granted through the Unified State Electronic Services Web Portal (‘Diia’).
After this deadline, the deferrals will be cancelled. The Ministry of Economy must send the decision to cancel the deferral to the state authorities, as well as to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defence.

Cancellation of mobilisation exemption will be subject to new conditions
The government has clarified the conditions for cancellation, in particular, it concerns the dismissal of an employee, the closure of a critical enterprise or the expiration of the appointment.
Earlier, we wrote about the new rules for reserving employees from mobilisation. In particular, starting from 1 December, this process will be fully automated using the Diia portal.
In addition, all decisions to designate enterprises as critical will be monitored with the possibility of cancelling the reservation. This option will be provided in Diia.
The compliance of enterprises with the established requirements for the average salary at the enterprise, the level of tax payment and the number of persons liable for military service will be monitored on a monthly basis.
If it is found that a company does not meet the requirements, it will be asked to provide explanations. If the monitoring results are negative, the company will be deprived of its criticality status.
We remind you! We told you how to apply for an employee reservation through Diia.
