The most in-demand military specialities

According to recruitment centres, the following positions are the most popular among all applications:

- UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) operators

- Drivers

- Shooting specialities

The increase in demand for qualified UAV operators is attributed to the booming use of drones in the Defence Forces. Drivers and shooters also remain in demand, as they provide both logistics and direct combat operations.

As is known, there are 48 recruitment centres in Ukraine, among which there is an online centre. Their main tasks are counselling and full support of potential candidates for military service.

Why women are increasingly choosing to serve in the AFU

🔻 Many see service as a way to contribute to the defence of the country.

Empowerment

🔻 The number of military specialities open to women is growing.

Support and equal rights

🔻 The AFU and the Ministry of Defence are actively working to create equal conditions for all military personnel, including training and career opportunities.

We remind you! The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is launching a new project on recruiting young men 18-24 years old in the AFU. Find out what the essence of this project is and what the conditions are.
