Without vaccines and quarantine: where can a Ukrainian go with or without a test (part 2)

The travel portal VisitUkraine.Today continued the list of open popular tourist destinations where Ukrainians can go on vacation in 2022 without a vaccination certificate and quarantine.

Information as of January 31, 2022.


MONTENEGRO

Ukrainians are allowed to enter Montenegro if they have a negative test result – PCR not older than 72 hours or a rapid antigen test not older than 48 hours.

Children: children under 18 years of age do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: none.


BULGARIA

For entry, unvaccinated tourists from Ukraine need a negative PCR test result, made no earlier than 72 hours before entry. The result must be provided in the form of a digital EU COVID certificate – for example, the Diia application.

Children: children under 12 years of age do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: there are minor. A vaccination certificate is not required to check into hotels or use the ski lifts, but it is required for SPA and some indoor areas.


CROATIA

For unvaccinated tourists, a certificate with a negative PCR test result made no earlier than 72 hours before entry, or an express antigen test (48 hours) is enough to enter Croatia. Before departure, you need to fill out a special form on the website of the Ministry of Tourism of Croatia. Tourists need to have a booking confirmation in Croatia.

Children: children under 12 years of age do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: none.


HUNGARY

Citizens of Ukraine can cross the Ukrainian-Hungarian border by land transport without tests. For entry by air, a certificate with a negative PCR test result made no earlier than 72 hours before entry, or a rapid antigen test (48 hours) is required.

Children: children under 12 years of age do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists inside the country: none, according to the certificate, entrance only to the baths of Budapest.


GEORGIA

Unvaccinated citizens of Ukraine are allowed to enter, subject to filling out a special online questionnaire and providing a PCR test certificate, carried out no more than 72 hours before traveling to Georgia. On the 3rd day of your stay, you should definitely undergo PCR testing at your own expense.

Children: children under 10 do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: citizens of Ukraine can visit public institutions throughout Georgia by presenting a negative test result.


GREAT BRITAIN

From February 11, 2022, unvaccinated tourists are exempt from quarantine and testing on the eighth day upon arrival. For entry, a test for COVID-19 before departure (made no earlier than 48 hours before arrival) is sufficient, as well as another test no later than on the second day of stay in the UK. All passengers will still need to complete the PLF within 48 hours prior to departure.

Children: children under 12 years of age do not need certificates with tests.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: lifted.


NORWAY

On January 26, Norway lifted the mandatory 10-day quarantine for unvaccinated travelers. All you need is a certificate with a negative PCR result or a rapid antigen test done 24 hours before entry. Upon arrival, all tourists take a free express test, including children.

Children: children under 16 do not need a test certificate before departure.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: none.


TANZANIA

All arrivals in Tanzania must provide a negative PCR or RT-PCR test, which was done no more than 96 hours before crossing the border into the country. Travelers must also complete the online medical form no more than 24 hours before crossing the border.

Children: children under 5 do not need a test certificate before departure.

Restrictions for unvaccinated tourists within the country: none.


In addition to the countries listed above, with a PCR test (usually not older than 72 hours), unvaccinated tourists without quarantine are accepted:

Armenia,

Albania,

Bahamas,

Bosnia and Herzegovina,

Zimbabwe,

Colombia,

Lebanon,

Macedonia,

Moldova,

Namibia,

Peru,

Slovenia,

Tunisia,

Uzbekistan,

Ethiopia,

South Africa, as well as most countries of equatorial Africa.


Choose whichever option suits you best, but do not forget to take out travel insurance for traveling abroad, which will allow you to avoid unexpected expenses.
