• Employees and heads of diplomatic missions and consulates in Azerbaijan and their family members;
• Foreigners whose family members (spouses, parents, brothers, sisters or children) are citizens of Azerbaijan;
• Foreigners who have a work permit in Azerbaijan;
• Foreigners with a permanent or temporary residence permit in Azerbaijan.
Also, in addition to the above categories of persons, other citizens and residents of Russia, Turkey, USA, Bahrain, UAE, Great Britain, Israel, Hungary and Qatar are accepted on special flights of the airline in accordance with the following conditions and passport and visa rules of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
Passengers over 18 years old - with a COVID passport (an official certificate confirming the completion of a full course of vaccination, or an official certificate of recovery from COVID-19), as well as a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus received within 72 hours before departure.
COVID passport or immune certificate must have electronic verification attributes. These documents will be checked during check-in at the airport.
Passengers aged from 1 to 18 years old - upon presentation of a certificate of a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus received within 72 hours prior to flight departure. Children under one year of age do not need to present a COVID passport or test result.
Citizens of other countries who enter by decision of the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan must also have a printed medical certificate of a negative PCR test for coronavirus (COVID-19), issued no later than 72 hours before the flight to Azerbaijan. A certificate is not required for children under one year of age. The child's age is calculated taking into account the departure date.
The presence of a QR code on the help is desirable, as it allows you to more quickly get detailed information about the results of the PCR test. Thus, passengers who presented a certificate with a QR code will pass border control faster, since this unique code will provide complete information about the results of the PCR test. Passengers with a certificate of a negative PCR test for COVID-19, but without the presence of a QR code on it, according to existing requirements, will receive a more thorough check. Passengers should be aware that this check will take additional time.
