For visa-free entry to Cyprus you need a valid biometric passport and get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the country.
To enter the island, tourists from Ukraine need:
- register on the CyprusFlightPass platform - https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/en/application-process, receive a personal flight access card (CyprusFlightPass) - all passengers without exception, incl. children;
- have a negative PCR test result made no more than 72 hours before departure (the test must be in English);
- upon arrival in Cyprus, undergo a second PCR test (cost: 15 euros at Larnaca airport and 19 euros at Paphos airport). The test result will be sent to the traveler via SMS within 3 hours. Until the result is obtained, the tourist must remain at home self-isolation.
Citizens and residents of the Republic of Cyprus, members of their families (foreign spouses and children), persons falling under the Vienna Convention (including diplomats), have the right to take one test upon arrival in the Republic of Cyprus, after which remain on self-isolation for at least 72 hours from the moment of arrival. After that, you need to pass a second PCR test for Covid-19, and send the results to the email address
[email protected].
* Children under 12 years of age are exempt from testing.
Cyprus allows entry of vaccinated Ukrainian citizens with an electronic certificate in the Diia app or an international paper certificate without PCR tests and quarantine.
Vaccines recognized by Cyprus:
- Janssen / Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
- Vaxzevria Vaccine (AstraZeneca)
- AstraZeneca-Covishield
- AstraZeneca-SKBio
- Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine
- Moderna Vaccine
- Sputnik V (Gam-COVID-Vac) Vaccine
- Sinopharm
- Sinovac (CoronaVac)
Vaccinated passengers must still complete the required claim form within 48 hours of their last flight to Cyprus and obtain the CyprusFlightPass by visiting the link www.cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/en/vaccinated-fly-request. Verification of the authenticity of the certificate is the exclusive responsibility of the border authorities of the country of departure. The passenger is personally responsible for providing false information and in this case will be subject to penalties upon arrival in Cyprus.
Please note that if a combination of different types of the above vaccines has been received (for example, the first dose of Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and the second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech), information about the SECOND vaccine is entered at the stage of filling out the application. In this case, all necessary doses and time frames of the vaccine must be observed.
It should be noted that the Republic of Cyprus still reserves the right to arbitrarily test any arriving flight, including vaccinated passengers.
