1. Crossing the state border at the entrance to the Republic of Moldova is allowed without restrictions (without quarantine) under the following conditions:
- presentation of a certificate of full vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 virus. Moldova recognizes all vaccines used in Ukraine. Proof of immunization is valid if at least 14 days have passed since the completion of the full vaccination schedule. You can enter Moldova with a vaccination certificate in the Diia app, with a paper certificate from the Diia portal with a QR code, with a paper vaccination certificate issued by a family doctor; or
- presentation of a negative result of the PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, made not later than 72 hours, or a certified negative result of the rapid test for the antigen to SARS-CoV-2 virus, made not later than 48 hours before boarding, or for persons traveling by public transport / own vehicles - before entering the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Confirmation must be provided in one of the following languages: Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Russian; or
- providing a confirmatory medical opinion for persons who have undergone COVID-19 between the 15th and 180th day (within the last 6 months) or confirmation of the presence of antibodies to COVID-19, which is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of the study. Documents must be submitted in one of the following languages: Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Russian.
2. Persons who do not meet the requirements specified in paragraph 1 must fill in the epidemiological sheet, as well as sign a declaration of personal responsibility for compliance with the regime of self-isolation for 14 days in designated areas. In the case of minors under 14 years of age, the epidemiological letter and the declaration of personal responsibility are filled in and signed by the legal representative or accompanying person. Individuals who are in self-isolation mode may discontinue this mode after the seventh day if they perform a PCR test for COVID-19 or a rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 and the result is negative.
3. Exceptions to the provisions of paragraph 2 are the following categories of persons if they do not have clinical signs of respiratory infection or fever:
- children under 12 years;
- pupils/students under the age of 18 who have to take exams, go to study in educational institutions on the territory of the Republic of Moldova or abroad, or who travel to participate in international competitions or Olympiads, with the presentation of supporting documents, as well as persons who accompany them;
- Crews and service personnel of aircraft/vessels, as well as crews and service personnel of railway trains, drivers and service personnel of freight vehicles and passenger vehicles engaged in paid transportation, have more than 9 seats, including the driver's seat (the exception will be valid until 30.09.21);
-persons traveling for health or humanitarian reasons, including an accompanying person (with supporting documents);
- cross-border workers entering the Republic of Moldova from Romania or Ukraine, as well as from the Republic of Moldova, working for economic agents from these countries, who can prove contractual relations with the relevant economic agents (this exception will be valid until 30.09.21);
- holders of diplomatic, service, official and special and other equivalent passports, as well as holders of Laissez Passer travel documents issued by the United Nations, including family members of diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations/missions accredited in the Republic of Moldova and or humanitarian personnel;
- Persons traveling through Moldova in transit (are on the road no more than 24 hours from the moment of registration of entry into the Republic of Moldova). The transit route is set by the border police;
- persons summoned to the courts or law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Moldova, as well as their legal representatives upon presentation of supporting documents.

According to the decisions of the National Emergency Commission of Public Health of the Republic of Moldova, persons transiting through the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including repatriated as a result of consular protection, are not subject to 14-day self-isolation. At the same time, the transit route is established by the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and is carried out on the basis of the obtained permit and without stops.
Persons who are sent through Moldova in transit do not need a test result if they are on the way no more than 24 hours from the moment of registration of entry into the Republic of Moldova.

A health emergency has been in effect in Moldova since September 10, due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus. Previously, such a legal regime will be in effect until October 30.
In this regard, for adults, restrictions on access to public events have been introduced - to attend concerts, nightclubs and festivals, including outdoors, it will be required to have a full course of vaccination against coronavirus, or a negative test not older than 72 hours (express -test - 48 hours), or a certificate of a previous illness in the last six months, or the presence of antibodies after an illness.
The Ministry of Health admitted that additional restrictions will be announced in the coming days.
