From August 8, 2021, the entry of Ukrainian citizens - holders of biometric passports to the Kingdom of the Netherlands is possible for all travel purposes.
For visa-free entry to the Netherlands you need a valid biometric passport and get a health insurance policy for the entire period of stay in the country.
Ukrainians who are planning a trip to the Netherlands, regardless of the type of transport and do not have confirmation of vaccination or a certificate of coronavirus disease, must do the test in their country - the PCR test must be done a maximum of 48 hours before departure, or the antigen test - 24 hours.

At least 14 days must elapse from the date of the last dose of vaccination. Transit to the airport Schiphol (Amsterdam) is allowed for all categories of citizens.
Requirements for transit passengers, incl. citizens of Ukraine, upon boarding a flight at the point of departure, present the purchased air ticket from the airport Schiphol (Amsterdam) to the final destination to the airport services of the country of departure. Non-EU nationals can move to a country outside the EU + via Amsterdam Airport if they remain in the transit area (not at the Schengen airport) and if they have a ticket for a confirmed flight to the country of destination - to an airport outside the Schengen zones - which departs within 48 hours of arrival in Amsterdam.

On August 8, a € 95 fine for travelers without proof of full vaccination, negative coronavirus test, or confirmation that they had had COVID-19 came into force in the Netherlands.
From September 25, 2021, only persons with a vaccination certificate or a negative coronavirus test will have access to such locations (except for children under 14):
- catering establishments (except for take-out orders),
- public events (such as festivals, performances, parties and professional sporting events), artistic and cultural events (such as cinemas and theaters).
This applies to both indoor and outdoor events, with and without fixed seating. Persons from the age of 14 must show their vaccination certificate or negative test, as well as an ID at the entrance.
The following documents issued by the Dutch authorities are valid:
- Certificate of complete vaccination against coronavirus with a vaccine approved in the EU. In the Netherlands, vaccinations are usually considered valid 14 days after vaccination. Typically, the CoronaCheck application can automatically generate your vaccination certificate from the RIVM or GGD systems.
- Confirmation of recovery in the form of a positive test at least 11 days ago and a maximum of 180 days ago.
- A negative coronavirus test result taken less than 24 hours before the start of the event.
These documents must be submitted in the CoronaCheck app or in hard copy, which can be ordered from CoronaCheck.nl
Tourists and foreigners can use their national covid certificate if it is recognized by the EU. The certificates generated in the Diia app are recognized by the Netherlands.
