Passengers must present to the airlines a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before arrival.
The rules for crossing the border upon presentation of a vaccination certificate are not defined.
Passengers with a negative COVID-19 test are allowed to transit. They are subject to contact tracing by the Health Authorities for 14 days and must not have respiratory symptoms.
The Nicaraguan government has not established any nationwide health guidelines in response to COVID-19, but some companies may have their own safety procedures.
Face masks are not required.
