The current requirements for entering Turkey will remain in effect at least until the end of the year.
Passengers to have a negative PCR test no more than 72 hours prior to entry or a negative rapid antigen test no more than 48 hours prior to entry.
Exempt from the test: children under 12 years old, vaccinated citizens (the country has approved COVID certificates printed from the Diia portal and paper international certificates of vaccination), if they were vaccinated at least 14 days before entry (Turkey accepts all vaccines that are used in Ukraine), as well as citizens who have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 6 months (subject to the provision of a doctor's certificate).
Any document must be completed in English.
To enter the country by air, sea, as well as by land, it is mandatory to have an insurance policy for COVID-19, which can be purchased online on our portal, and filling out an electronic form on the website of the Ministry of Health of Turkey: https://register.health.gov.tr/#
The electronic form must be completed 72 hours prior to arrival in Turkey. The completed form must be printed or saved on a smartphone or other device for presentation to the airline representative before boarding the flight. Passengers without a completed form will not be allowed on the flight, as a HES code is automatically generated on its basis.
! The HES code is a personal code entered by the Turkish Ministry of Health to track the movement of people who may be infected. With the help of the code, the Ministry of Health of Turkey will be able to contact you in case of any contact with a patient infected with Covid-19 during your trip. Therefore, when filling out the form, it is important to indicate the current mobile phone number.
The completed form must also be checked at the border of the Republic of Turkey. If you do not fill out the form or have knowingly entered false information, you may be subject to administrative sanctions, and you may also be prohibited from entering the country.
In addition, at the airport, tourists may be selectively asked to undergo a rapid antigen test.
Transit is possible if there is an appropriate transport connection.
Transit passengers do not need to have a PCR test and fill out an electronic form.
Masks are required in public places, enclosed spaces and on public transport.
Public transport operates as usual for foreign travelers.
Restaurants are open as usual, but masks must be worn if the guest is not seated at the table.
Nightclubs remain closed.
Stores and services are open with adapted safety measures such as the use of hand sanitizers and social distancing.
