The application process

1. An employer must obtain a corporate employment license before a foreign national can apply for a work permit in Uzbekistan. This license usually lasts from six to twelve months and allows the employer to hire a certain number of foreign nationals.

2. The company must also demonstrate why it needs to hire a foreign employee. To do this, it is necessary to research the Uzbek labor market to determine whether there are qualified candidates who can fill the position. 3. You must apply for a type E work visa through the embassy or consulate of Uzbekistan. You must also apply for a work visa from the Ministry of Labor of Uzbekistan. The relevant officials must approve the visa application in the applicant's home country.

4. After obtaining a work visa, foreign nationals are allowed to enter the country for up to 30 days. A work visa is valid for one entry only. Foreign nationals must register their address with the local police department upon entering Uzbekistan. After registering your address and obtaining a work visa, you can start working.
