Rules of entry to Yemen for Ukrainians

Active hostilities continue in the country. The country is not recommended to visit in case of urgent need. There are no special conditions for entry and assistance to temporarily displaced citizens of Ukraine in Yemen.

Possibility to extend short-term stays and visas for citizens of Ukraine

The possibility exists in the case of applying to the passport department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yemen.

What to do if the passport expires?

To extend the validity of your passport, you must contact the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The validity of the passport may be extended on the basis of:

- statements of the person or his / her legal representative (the statement is issued on the spot).

- together with the application the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for departure abroad is submitted. Passport renewal can be made not earlier than 3 months before its expiration date.

What to do if you have a child without a passport?

If the child does not have a passport, it is possible to enter information about it in the passport of one of the parents-citizens of Ukraine. To enter information about the child, one of the parents or the child's legal representative must apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in the KSA and submit the following documents:

- passport for travel abroad;

- application for entering information about the child in the passport for travel abroad (application is issued on the spot);

- birth certificate or birth certificate issued by the competent authorities of the foreign state. In the absence of a birth certificate, it is possible to submit an extract from the State Register of Civil Status Acts on state registration of birth;

- two photos of the child measuring 3.5 x 4.5 centimeters;

- a document confirming the authority of the person as one of the parents or legal representative of the child.
