New cash assistance for IDPs: how to get 6,600 hryvnias

Internally displaced persons who evacuated to Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Sumy or Khmelnytskyi regions can receive payments of UAH 2,200 per month for each family member for 3 months. In general, the amount of monetary assistance will be UAH 6,600.


Who can get help?


• Ukrainians who moved to Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Sumy or Khmelnytskyi regions within the last 30 days;

• Families whose households were affected by sudden shelling;

• Those who lost a family member;

• Families who have lost their means of livelihood due to hostilities (for example, their farm, shop, etc. have been destroyed);

• IDPs who moved before September 1 have an income of less than UAH 5,400 per person (for the last 3 months) and meet one of the following criteria:

— have 2 or more children;

— have a disability;

— manage the household independently;

— family members include pregnant women and mothers with children under 2 years of age or people over 55 years of age.


To register, all family members must come to the appropriate registration point:


• Kryvyi Rih: str. Khabarovska, 1. Hours of operation: weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. See here for the schedule of the mobile brigade. You can sign up for registration by phone: (096)956-08-18;


• Khmelnytskyi: str. Heroiv Maidan, 28. Hours of operation: weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The mobile brigade works according to the schedule;

What documents are required for registration?


• Internal passport (with information about registration) or a child's birth certificate;

• Tax payer card number;

• Bank details or IBAN of your account;

• Documents confirming belonging to the vulnerability category.


Financial assistance is provided by the Response Consortium in partnership with the Right to Defense Charitable Foundation with financial support from the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA).
