HELP

A bloody war unleashed by the russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine for almost 10 months. During this time, citizens have donated huge sums of money, possibly hundreds of millions of dollars, to help the army and the needy. In this way, we can state the fact that a unique culture of donation was born among Ukrainians, which spread not only in our country, but also in other very distant countries.

Donates bring us closer to victory

One of the reasons why the donation boom took place so dramatically in Ukraine is the feeling that the help that a particular person tries to allocate brings the country closer to a common victory.

Undoubtedly, this is a correct opinion from different points of view - both psychology and fact-finding. Because each of us now wants to somehow help those who need it, and every hryvnia donated for help brings Ukraine closer to success. And it is not only about military success, but also about successes in the rear, including social and economic ones.

Why does the feeling arise that you are not helping much?

Feeling guilty that you don't help or donate much to the needy is completely irrational. Such a feeling is most often formed by society. However, in reality, a person helps exactly as much as he can.

You can't measure your aid achievements, just as you can't listen to "couch critics". In this case, you should do as much as you can and not worry about the question "What will others think of me?".

A satellite, a fleet of naval drones and a "humanitarian". How do Ukrainians help fellow citizens during the war?

Since the beginning of the war, Ukrainians massively began to help the army. Currently, it is difficult to find a citizen of Ukraine who has not at least once donated to a national cause. One of these goals was fundraising for Bayraktar drones, which was organized by the showman and volunteer Serhiy Prytula's fund. In just one day, Ukrainians managed to raise funds for two drones - 296 million hryvnias. By the end of the collection, the amount of over 600 million hryvnias was recorded in the fund's account.

Subsequently, the Baykar company (the manufacturer of the Bayraktar drone) decided to provide the UAV for free. Therefore, they decided to use the funds for the purchase of a satellite for military purposes.

In addition, fundraising for a fleet of maritime drones was recently launched in Ukraine. The goal is to raise funds for 100 drones capable of moving on water. One such device costs 10 million hryvnias. During the first day of fundraising, the UNITED 24 platform managed to raise funds for several drones. The initiative continues to this day.

In addition to military aid, Ukrainians massively help the needy: pensioners, ordinary people, and those affected by hostilities.

It is worth noting that against the background of Russian aggression, the citizens of Ukraine have become one of the most united countries in the world. Today, each of us thinks not only about ourselves, but also about those who share this difficult time with us. Ukraine and its people can clearly be proud of themselves and their unity.

Make a donation together with Visit Ukraine

Unfortunately, not every Ukrainian has the opportunity to prepare for an extremely difficult winter so as not to freeze in their own home. Therefore, we must work together to provide the basic needs of those in need.

We need your help to give Ukrainians light and warmth. We collect funds for:

• Power banks ($25 donation)

• Flashlights ($5 donation)

• Warm blankets ($10 donation)

• Storage and shelter device - warm seats ($3 donation)

Or package assistance (donate $43)

You can deposit any amount in a convenient way from any corner of the world. Read more about how to help Ukrainians survive the winter by following the link.
