Is it possible to cross the Polish border now?

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Polish carriers do not intend to block the movement of buses and cars, but queues may still be longer than usual.

In order to avoid standing for hours at the checkpoints and cross the border quickly, we recommend checking the queues in advance and planning a route through the least busy checkpoint. This applies to both directions, both entering and leaving Ukraine. For instructions on how to check the status of queues at Ukrainian borders, follow this link.

About the documents required for a car to travel abroad read here.

A guaranteed way to avoid queues at the border is to use railroad connections. Ukraine is currently connected by rail to Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

You can check train schedules, compare prices, and buy tickets through Visit Ukraine's convenient booking service. The website has a bonus points system that allows you to travel much cheaper.

We remind you! Slovak and Polish carriers have blocked the checkpoints on the border with Ukraine for trucks, and Ukrainian carriers have responded with a protest on their side. Find out what the parties are demanding and what is happening at the border.
