Where will be the most expensive and cheapest places to build housing in Ukraine in 2024?
The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine has released a study of housing construction costs by region of Ukraine. It turned out that the most expensive housing construction is in Kyiv, and the cheapest - in Kirovohrad region. Learn more about the cost of housing construction by region of Ukraine in 2024
In Ukraine, the Ministry of Regional Development has published a rating of regions by the cost of housing construction. The calculations were made based on the cost per square meter of total housing area, including value added tax.

Regions with the lowest construction costs
So, for Kirovohrad region, this figure is UAH 18313. Although the cost of construction here has increased by UAH 572, it remains the lowest result. Zakarpattia and Zhytomyr regions also have similar figures (18.7 and 18.9 thousand hryvnias, respectively).
However, developers in Kirovohrad region note that the real cost of construction is many times higher, as it does not take into account the cost of the land plot, utilities, design documentation, landscaping, and infrastructure.

Regions of Ukraine with the most expensive construction in 2024
The most expensive construction work will be in the capital: the cost per square meter reaches UAH 25183. For Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, this figure is UAH 22417 and UAH 22631, respectively.
