Tourism in Ukraine is as alive as Ukraine itself. And Visit Ukraine's special English-language tour is designed to showcase this at its best. We have prepared for you not just a trip, but a journey through the modern places of strength, resilience, hope and revival of Ukraine. Find out how and what Ukraine lives today and why its strength can inspire every tourist
The tour “UKRAINE - FROM WEST TO EAST” is a unique five-day individual tour of unconquered Ukraine, which offers to see the country in its strongest, most promising and most beautiful form. We demonstrate Ukraine in a new way: modern, topical, and relevant.
The main cities of the route: Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv
Three key cities of Ukraine - Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv - are waiting for guests to show them their true charm and character. Each city of this “trio” has its own unique history, its own present and has its own chamber atmosphere, despite the fact that they are large cities of Ukraine. On the tour, you will see how even in the most difficult times these metropolises preserve their heritage and strength of spirit.
Day 1: Lviv - the gateway to Ukrainian culture
Your journey will begin in one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine - Lviv. After a group transfer from Krakow Airport to Lviv, you will check into your hotel and have the opportunity to relax before the next day's tour. After all, Lviv always offers a rich tourist program.
Lviv is a city where history and modernity have long been friends, where business routine and tourist spirit have found a common language. It has a multifaceted architecture and famous narrow streets of the ancient center, cozy cafes and always lively environment. The City of Lion is alive, and hope and the eternal spirit of Ukrainian resistance live in it. The City of Lion lives and demonstrates a wonderful example of a bright, exquisite life to everyone.
On a tour of Lviv you will be able to see its most famous sights: Rynok Square, Dominican Cathedral, Opera House, and just learn some interesting facts about the history of the city, which has always been and remains the cultural center of Western Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
Earlier we told you about another unique tour of unconquered cities of Ukraine
Day 2: Kyiv - the city of unconquerable fortitude
After breakfast and a city tour of Lviv, you will travel by train to the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. In the evening upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will spend two nights.
Kyiv is a city that 101% embodies the strength of the Ukrainian nation in its difficult times. While the fighting continues in eastern Ukraine, Kyiv is still going strong and employs millions of Ukrainians to support the army, develop the economy, and, of course, give its citizens and visitors the unshakable confidence that life always wins in Ukraine.
The next day you will have a unique opportunity to see the de-occupied cities of Kyiv region. These places have already become a symbol of Ukrainians' resilience in the face of aggression, and are becoming a symbol of rebirth after destruction.
Visit Bucha, Irpin, or Borodyanka - the settlements that have survived and are now actively recovering - and you will feel, see, and touch the unbreakable present of Ukraine. And upon returning to Kyiv, you will not only feel the pain of these territories, but also understand their incredible strength. The strength with which Ukrainians are rebuilding their cities in the midst of the war with russia.

Day 3: Kyiv unconquered
The third day of the tour is also dedicated to Kyiv, a city that retains its status charm under any circumstances. During the “Kyiv Unconquered” tour, you will visit the most prominent places of the capital that convey its millennial character and overall tourist value: Golden Gate, St. Sophia Cathedral, Independence Square, and St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. Kyiv lives in these architectural entities, continues to develop and struggle. At every step in Kyiv you will witness how Kyivans preserve their cultural heritage despite constant challenges. You will feel and understand that Kyiv is not just the Ukrainian capital, but the heart of the country, which continues to beat with the passion of a mother. Visit the memorial sites of the revolutions in Kyiv, see the restored parks and meet people who have not lost faith in victory.
Day 4: Kharkiv. The city of reinforced concrete
After the evening train from Kyiv, early in the morning you will arrive in the unbreakable, unconquered, unwavering and always calm spirit of Kharkiv - a unique Ukrainian city that has been at the forefront of Ukrainian defense for 3 years in a row, and for this it has received the unofficial status of the capital of Ukrainian invincibility. But in addition to being an unprecedented example of resilience, Kharkiv remains a lively, cultural, and very clean Ukrainian city where life is experienced through the prism of war.
Kharkiv is the only city where the Shevchenko monument is covered with sandbags and tourists visit monuments of houses destroyed by shelling. It is the only city in the world where the subway is now free, as well as all public transportation. It is the only city where people hear the air raid alarm 10 times a day and... continue to live, work and even enjoy life.
In Kharkiv, you will have a three-hour sightseeing tour, during which you will learn about the unique history of Kharkiv and see with your own eyes the places where Russian shells have recently exploded. The cultural heritage of Kharkiv, even despite the destruction, remains very large-scale, and in 3 hours it is impossible to cover it all. However, 3 hours is enough time to comprehend Kharkiv's main existing value - its people. Almost a million citizens refused to leave their city despite all the horrors of war! It is surprising, impressive, admirable, and inspiring.
Day 5: Return to Lviv
In the evening, you will take a train back to Lviv, where your unforgettable five-day journey through Ukraine will end. From West to East and from East to West. Upon arrival in Lviv and individual transfer to Krakow airport, you will finish your trip not only with new impressions, but also with a clear understanding of how Ukraine is not only surviving, but every moment is turning into an even stronger, more beautiful and more attractive country that you want to set as an example, that you want to tell your friends about and that you want to come back to again and again and again...
Why should you choose this tour?
This five-day tour is an opportunity to see not only the natural beauty of Ukraine and get acquainted with its tourist component, but also to meet its heroic people, who will teach you to believe in yourself and your future despite all the challenges. Visiting the cities that withstood the war, which continue to stand, live, and create, you will receive tremendous motivational energy, as well as once again reflect on the value of life's moments. Ukraine demonstrates the strength that this tour will reveal from different angles.
